Please Be Advised of the following "Open-Swim" limitations and/or restrictions...
While the pool is open for membership, please be prepared to yield to space to our "large" 9 AM - 10 AM Aquacize class (this class generally occupies the entire shallow half of the pool.), as well as our Tuesday and Thursday aerobics class between 6 PM and 7 PM

Swim Test Policy

New Swim Test Policy Poster

The YMCA is committed to providing the safest possible environment and has sanctioned a Swim Test Policy to enhance safety for all young swimmers. Prior to entering the pool, all children ages 14 and under must receive a wristband from the lifeguard before entering the pool. If the child wishes to use the deep end they must take a swim test. The Swim Test consists of: entering the deep end of the pool, treading water for 20 seconds with head above water, then swimming 25 yards with head above water, and exiting the pool without assistance using either wall, ladder or stairs.
